Auckland Refugee Community Coalition

MEMBERSHIP

Membership of the coalition shall consist of individuals represented by refugee community groups.

Community groups may be represented by one or more individuals in the Coalition.

The coalition may allow some groups or individuals to be a collaborative member if it is beneficiary for promoting the objectives.

Members have the right to attend regular or special meetings. They are also eligible to vote for election and other issues.

Any member of the coalition has the right to participate fully in the coalition activity.

Any member of the coalition has the right to request and obtain information pertaining to the coalition.

Membership process

Any group or individual who wish to be a member of the coalition shall submit a written application. The application will be considered by the Coalition.

The coalition has the right to accept or reject the application based on the society rules and the information provided to be a member.

Cessation of membership

Any member of the coalition may resign or cease through a written notice if necessary.

Any member of the coalition who stopped to participate or attend the meeting for three months with out substantial reason may be expelled by the coalition.
